SPEAKER BIO'S
Host & Event Organizer
Megan Gesell - Owner & Founder, Healing Barn Movement

“Take care of your body, it's the only place you have to live." - Jim Rohn

We've been passionate about choosing natural health options for almost twenty years. We know that most disease is caused by what we put on or in our bodies and want to do better for us and our pets. Your body is good. It is very hard to get sick! If we get sick, it’s because MANY things have to happen as our bodies are designed amazingly well. When you give your body what it needs, it keeps you well. Your current state of health is greatly affected by your daily choices & thoughts.

We have created a healing home & barn for us, our cats and herd of horses & mules with life changing results. We are doing the best we can to take care of our bodies so we can still be riding horse when we’re older than dirt!

Together with our friends & family members, we've impacted hundreds of families by sharing our lifestyle with those we care about. It usually takes less than 10 minutes when having a conversation with someone to find a need we can help them with whether that is with their personal health, a family member, a beloved pet or by adding an additional income stream to their current equine business.

We’ve been able to combine our love of horses and natural health by joining with other like-minded horse owners & professionals. The relationships & experiences have been life changing as well as all of our overall health & wellness.

Megan and her husband, Scott, live in northern Minnesota with their 2 cats and herd of horses & mules. They spend the winters horse camping & riding across Arizona.
Vibrational & Energy Medicine | Natural Pain Management
Dr. Barbara Fox, DVM - Author, Speaker & Consultant at Beyond Tradition Animal Healing Center

Dr. Barb Fox has been practicing veterinary medicine for the past 25 years. After a life-threatening medical diagnosis in 2007, Dr. Fox chose a holistic treatment plan in lieu of conventional medicine. After seeing the tremendous benefits of natural therapies, she furthered her education by attending as many holistic veterinary conferences, workshops, and classes as she could to learn how to enhance her animal patients' responses to healing.

Dr. Fox is a member of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association and is on the board of the Veterinary Medical Aromatherapy Association. She has spoken at the Young Living International Grand Convention, the Young Living Animal and Essential Oils Conferences, the Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association's national symposium, and numerous regional and local essential oil events.

Dr. Fox lives with her husband Gary, their two horses, Pal and Chaser, and numerous kitties on their farm in northeast Iowa. In her spare time, Dr. Fox loves to rock hunt, hike, and spend time around the fire pit.
Lyme Disease | Biofeedback | Quantum Physics
Dr. Ann Domagala, DVM, ND - AnnCo Veterinary Service & A Different Perspective Alternative Therapies

Dr. Ann graduated from the U of M, College of Veterinary medicine in 1988 and started practicing Large Animal medicine concentrating mainly on dairy cattle.

After starting her own practice in 1994 and becoming friends with an incredible Equestrian and dressage trainer who introduced her to energy medicine, she became fascinated with the subject and started studying  Healing Touch, Reiki, and Integrated Energy Therapy techniques and in 2001 completed a doctorate in Naturopathy and began incorporating herbs, essential oils, homeopathy and biofeedback into her traditional practice which was now slowly becoming primarily an equine /companion animal practice.

Living and practicing in, Crow Wing County, “Lyme central”, she saw the early evolution of Lyme disease in animals and in 2000 was given the gift of Lyme disease herself.  This gift along with the overwhelming numbers of Lyme infected animals she was presented, and the problem that the tests were poor and antibiotics were no longer treating these animals encouraged her to become a “Lyme Literate Veterinarian” and find alternative ways to detect and treat Lyme disease and its co-infection partners.

She met Dr. Gus Kaubisch, a naturopathic chiropractor, in 1999 and began studying his method of German biofeedback and use of homeopathics to treat imbalances.  Biofeedback testing is the main energetic testing process that she uses currently to aid in detection and repair of health imbalances  including Lyme & Lyme coinfections, biowarfare organisms, vaccine reactions, and toxins.

Michelle Jerry - Natural Horsemanship Trainer & Inspirational Speaker

Michelle & Francis Jerry have owned and operated Heart & Hooves Horsemanship for 7 years and are located in Deer River, MN.

The Heart and Hooves Horsemanship program fosters a caring, supportive, and energetic atmosphere to practice natural horsemanship based on mutual respect with horses. Understanding how a horse thinks is the foundation of all natural horsemanship and fuels a deeper level of two way communication that can be used in any discipline. Every exercise and activity has meaning and builds a solid foundation, and relationship that unites horse and rider.

Our program provides the building blocks necessary to gain a true partnership with meaning to both horse and human that inspires continued growth. The Heart and Hooves Horsemanship Program strives to expand your horsemanship skills while promoting confidence in participants and their equine partners equally.

We offer a variety of options to fit your schedule and individual horsemanship goals. We have a number of events every year and our clinics are open to all horse enthusiasts from novice to advanced.
Equine Osteopathy Demo | Lower Leg Anatomy + Intro to Barefoot Trimming
Cynthia Niemala -  BS, LH & AANHCP, CHCP, LH CBS

Cynthia graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Animal Science and then went on to do Social Work for a number of years. During a continuously varied work career, the one constant for her was her involvement with horses. She has been involved in 4-H as a Judge, and a leader and coach at both the local and state level. She is a certified riding instructor for both English and Western riding. She and her husband bred Quarter Horses and showed a number of Minnesota State Champions.

Cynthia trims hooves and does Equine Osteopathy full-time in both South Dakota and Minnesota. She lives in the Black Hills of South Dakota about 15 miles from Mount Rushmore. The terrain is rocky and mountainous. Most people are worried about the ability of horses to perform barefoot in that kind of terrain. One of the experiences that can’t help but cement confidence in a barefoot horse is to take an extra day and trail ride with Cynthia while you are there for a mentorship.

Cynthia is a Liberated Horsemanship field instructor.
